SONG OF THE WEEK- PART 1

The above lines are from the very first song that I've chosen for the first edition of 'song of the week series'.  The song is..... drum roll please...

KHUD SE by Osho Jain. 

Man!! I mean, the song is so pure! To be honest, I have little knowledge about music. I just listen to whatever soothes my ears. And, 'Khud se' is a song which is a delight for the ears!! And of course, the lyrics! More than a song, it's a story. Or a confession. 

He starts by saying that looks like the world is somewhat angry with me.. But, no issues, I myself am angry with me(main bhi khafa hun khudse)..

But yaar, I seem to find a much deeper meaning in this song(itne dhyaan se Robert Frost ki poems padhli hoti, toh baat he kya thi😅). Jokes apart, we all have those days when it's Us Vs Universe. Everything seems to be going against us, right? But, it is our LACK OF SELF-LOVE which is making us question ourselves or our capabilities. That's why the world ain't angry with us, WE ARE!!

Agar aapko kuch samjh nahi aaya, then it's ok.🙂 Samjhne ki koshish bhi mat karna. Issi baat pe ek shayari please?

Kehne ko toh sheeshe ki tarah aar paar hun,

Par bohto ki samajh se bahar hun.

THE LANDLINE

 Hi everyone.  How are you all? Does anyone know what a landline is? It's basically a device used to make calls, but the only difference is, that you have to remember all the numbers! More than a communication device, it's used as an address proof in Indian households.  See, it's almost never used to call people. Only when all your options are exhausted, then you use the ultimate option- LANDLINE.  However, there are 2 exceptions to this. One being my very own mother, and the other was my nani. Just like any other mother- daughter, they both used to talk hours on the phone with each other! Nani, telling her what she had made, what's the hot news in town, which relative had a child, which one got married and what not! My mother, on the other hand, gave her all the updates about Delhi. Oh by the way, my mother belongs to small town in Haryana, about 200 km from Delhi. So that's why we used to visit nani only about 3-4 times an year.  And all these millions of hour...

SHE CHOSE US...

 Hello everyone! Ki haal chaal?  I hope everything's good. Kya chal raha hai aaj kal, phir? Kuch na kuch toh chal he raha hoga.. You see, gossip is to the soul, what rabri is to jalebi. Coz uske bina kaam toh chal jayega, but rabri(gossip) se he toh MAZZA aata hai yaar! Some of you must be going through a breakup, or maybe 'planning' someone else's breakup. Some of you must be worried to hell about career and constantly thinking "mera kya hoga life mein"? (I'm some of you..) While others must be watching netflix all day long, sleeping for 12 hours a day and procrastinating things like a boss(I'm this too😢).
