THE ROAD TO BE TAKEN..

Image
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence Two roads diverged in a wood, and I, I took the one less travelled by; And that has made all the difference. I was in class 10 when I read 'THE ROAD NOT TAKEN' by Robert Frost for the first time. I found it to be so intriguing and ambiguous solely because of the fact that the poet did not go in the mainstream and follow the herd. He took the road 'less travelled by'...  Well, poetically, it seems amusing. But, when you have to face a crossroad practically, none of us have the guts to actually go against the rules. To be honest, I am at one such crossroad. Almost all readers of this blog are at an age when they shall be finally deciding what their future is going to look like. It's even terrifying to think that an apparently small decision right now, might have a considerable impact on our future.  Those who know me, know it very well that I don't like to follow the crowd. THAT OLD WOMAN..

Ever felt angry on your parents? Mata rani will get angry if you say no(vaise bhi navratre chal rahi hai). Of course, we all get irritated by our parents. Me too. Whether it's their constant crippling about 'khaana khaa le' or 'come back on time' or 'moong ki dal banai hai'.... IT'S QUITE HUMAN.  Let me give you a few situations. But, you have to take care of someone, say your younger sibling.. 3) You not only have to cook dinner for yourself, but for someone else as well. And that too, every single day!! 4) Being a good samaritan, you even made food for that person. But, he/she being a ****, showed tantrums and refused to eat t...

Well, today's post isn't just a regular post.. It isn't about you or me. It is about something quite peculiar.. For this, I would like you to meet someone first.   Meet S(short for stick figure, so no reference to real life). You'll always find S smiling. He is an easy-going guy without much problems. He's got a very loving family too! His parents are SO COOL! Whenever S is angry, his father would imitate his mother to make him laugh! But, S has a weird problem... Whenever his parents make him laugh, he feels a strange fear in his heart... S has the bestest friends as well! They play with S, laugh with S and enjoy with S! But, whenever they ask S to come with them for a birthday party or any other party, he straightaway denies it. It's not that S is shy or introverted. He's just.... AFRAID. Afraid of something we have no idea about.. S CAN BE HAPPY, BUT DOESN'T WANT TO BE HAPPY. Quite the opposite, right? S thinks that he doesn't deserve this happine...
